TWO ADDITIONAL NOTES ABOUT SFNE INFORMAL GATHERING SUNDAY

1. We have been cleared for access to Superman via the Q-Bot entrance, however if it becomes too busy (as it may, given the weather forecast), this perk may have to be withdrawn in fairness to those waiting in the regular line. Please abide by the park's decision on this.

2. Item 1 may become a moot point. I just received the following message in an e-mail from our contact at the park:

...As of right now, Superman is down. It will not open tonight. It may not open this weekend at all. We are waiting on some sort of part that is on its way.... We are doing EVERYTHING in our power to get the ride up. With the beautiful weather, we can't afford (not that you ever can) to have our marque ride down. Just wanted to let you know so you can let the members know. I don't want to let people down.

The park is sorry for the inconvenience. If I receive any further updates on Superman's status between now and Sunday, I'll post them here.

FINAL SCHEDULE INFORMATION FOR INFORMAL GATHERING AT SIX FLAGS NEW ENGLAND ON SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 2

The tour (Scream/Houdini/south side of Cyclone) mentioned in the last entry is confirmed. Meet underneath
the entrance sign to the Super Hero Adventures area (i.e. just prior to the main stairway used to get down to Superman) at 2:15 pm if you would like to participate.

The 4 pm meeting time for ITOTs outside of Superman's exit/gift shop is still on, as planned (see post below).

If you haven't purchased your 2004 season pass yet and would like to take advantage of the group discount, meet in the vicinity of the carousel and guest relations at 6:30 pm on Sunday and we'll make a group purchase. Processing, as I understand it, will also be available that day. If this group wishes to proceed to ITOTs after the purchase, we will do so.

The park closes at 9 pm and last ride of the year on Superman for New England ACE members is confirmed. We will probably have to meet by the south entrance of the Batman stunt show like we did last year around 8:45 pm or so, though this could change. Be sure to listen to any instructions given by the park or myself if the meeting place/time is changed.

Those are all the updated details as I understand them. I look forward to seeing you Sunday!

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION ABOUT INFORMAL GATHERING AT SIX FLAGS NEW ENGLAND SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 2

So far, there is one meeting time scheduled for those attending at 4pm in the vicinity of the exit/gift shop area of Superman Ride of Steel. This will likely be the launching point for some informal takeover times (ITOTs) on various rides, but could evolve into something else. In addition to likely getting the last ride of the year on Superman (exclusively for ACE New England Region members, with ACE members from outside of New England getting next priority and guests of members getting next priority after that if space still remains on the train), a tour of the Scream operators booth, Houdini's basement and control systems area, and the south side of Cyclone is tentatively planned. Other surprises are also being considered, but are either still not even close to being confirmed or are a bit of a longshot, and therefore should probably not be discussed at this time. Needless to say, though, it should be a fun day. Hope to see you there!

COASTERING IN DECEMBER? THE PACIFIC NORTHWEST IS A NEW POSSIBILITY!

Think the roller coaster season is over for the year? Well think again! Wild Waves and Enchanted Village will be open in December for “Holiday with Lights!” Celebrate the season with colorful lights, beautiful holiday carols, pictures with Santa and much, much more--like, for example, a regional event to take place Saturday, December 20, 2003!

Plans are still firming, but the schedule is shaping up as follows:

4:15pm-5:00pm: Check-in and registration at the main entrance
5:00pm-6:00pm: ERT on Timberhawk: Ride of Prey
6:00pm-8:00pm: Mexican Fiesta Dinner
6:00pm-10:00pm: Park open to general public
7:00pm-7:15pm: Door prize giveaways and group photos

Note that the ERT would be a night-time session. It gets dark very early this time of year! Weatherwise, it’s not likely we’d have snow, but light rainfall is certainly possible (sustained heavy rainfall isn’t that common). The park will make every effort to run the coaster, even if we have less-than-ideal weather conditions.

The cost for this event will likely be $10 for ACE members and $15 for non-ACE members. This price is not confirmed as of yet, so it might vary slightly.

For more information on this event as it becomes available, email Steve Gzesh at stevegz@microsoft.com.
