NOR'EASTER DATES

Many of you have asked that I try to give more notice on the dates of regional events, so as a heads-up, the following four dates are already being considered for our next winter event, Nor'Easter 2004: February 28, March 6, March 13, and March 20. Once I've eliminated any dates that prove to cause conflict for ACE and/or the event planners, I'll likely throw the remaining dates open for a vote for those on the e-mail list, so feel free to start considering your preference(s).

NEWSLETTER IS IN THE WORKS

The next issue of the New England Dispatch is being worked on and will be mailed on or about Oct. 2. We're running a bit later than usual due to Peg's change of employment and house-hunting/moving as well as due to my own employment issues and a recent motherboard failure in my computer that left it inoperable for about two weeks. We're doing our best to get the information to you as quickly as possible.

ADDITIONAL BOO-LDER DASH BASH DETAILS AVAILABLE

The exact pricing structure is still being worked out, but will likely be similar to last year. Registration will be onsite on Oct. 25 from 3p-4p. NO event tickets will be sold once registration is closed. ERT will happen on Boulder Dash from 4p-5p. From 5p to closing, Lake Compounce is open and available to the public and event attendees. As in the past, Haunted Graveyard admission is included in the registration fee.

INFORMAL GATHERING AT SIX FLAGS NEW ENGLAND SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 2

There will be an informal ACE New England Region gathering at Six Flags New England on closing day, Sunday, November, 2, 2003. There MAY (and I stress MAY) be some perks offered by the park to attendees in a similar manner to what was done last year. It is highly likely (though by no means definite) that the park will reserve the final train out on Superman of the year for ACE members. Other possible benefits for attendees are being discussed, but are still in the early stages of planning. Meeting times for ITOTs (informal takeover times)/getting together with your fellow ACEers have not been set as of yet, but will be tentatively announced shortly. Check back here for updates on this gathering as they become available.
